What are the advantages of female condoms?

Female condoms are controlled by the woman.  Female condoms are 95% effective in preventing pregnancy.  They can be used at any time, including during menstruation.  A woman can insert the female condom up to 8 hours before sex.

Female condoms lower the risk of STIs for both partners. 

Not only water-based lubricants but also oil-based products, such as moisturizer, lotion and Vaseline can be used with female condoms.For female condoms made of latex women should only use water-based lubricants.
